Summary

I’m a results-focused agile leader with a head for business, a passion for technology, and a commitment to my colleagues and customers. While I believe strongly in measuring what matters and I use metrics to set, and achieve, goals, I also value “unmeasurables” like creativity and kindness. My colleagues have told me they value my communication and organizational skills. Even on days when it feels difficult to stay organized, the support of my team and my own strong work ethic keep me striving to move forward. I’m also motivated by my commitment to, and enjoyment of, continuous learning and improvement. As an advocate for agile methodologies, I’ve always been prepared to respond to and change with circumstances as needed – something that’s become even more important over the last couple of years. These traits have helped me achieve successes including: * Reducing cost and enabling growth by leading a SAFe Agile transformation for a software product line. * Optimizing team delivery and measuring business agility in terms of predictability, reliability, and adaptability, by establishing and implementing relevant metrics. * Leading multifunctional technology teams to success with goal-setting, effective training, and close mentoring. While public speaking tops many people’s “biggest fear” list, for me it’s truly a pleasure. I love speaking at conferences and at Toastmaster meetings, and was a recent panelist at the Ottawa Cybersecurity Meetup group. As a complement to my love of public speaking, I also enjoy singing.
