Summary
Mark Ng is General Manager for the HEV/EV sector, responsible for Automotive Electrification efforts at Texas Instruments. Mark designs full system solutions that address customer design challenges. He currently leads a team of system engineers working specifically on three key areas of electrification - Traction Inverter, Battery Management Systems and On-Board Chargers (OBC)/DCDC Converters. Mark also advises promotion decisions as well as new product development. Prior to his current role, Mark held positions at TI in Hong Kong as a business development manager in the analog power products business, an infrastructure power product manager in the high performance isolated business unit and a product marketing manager in isolated DC/DC Telecom. Before his roles in Hong Kong, Mark worked at TI as an analog field applications engineer supporting America sales and marketing in Sunnyvale, California. Mark also has previous experience at Xilinx Inc. where he worked as a staff applications engineer and a senior applications engineer. Mark received a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in electrical engineering from Santa Clara University, and holds 5 U.S. Patents
