Summary
I have been building “the web” for almost 30 years, and I still love it as much as the day I coded my first HTML pages on Netscape. I’m a generalist at heart and believe that over-specialization is for insects. Every project brings opportunities to learn new approaches and master new tools. Over the years, I have had the chance to work on a wide range of challenges, allowing me to immerse myself in the rich world of web software development—from the creative to the technical, from solo workflows to company-wide production process transformations, and from pitching wild ideas to delivering them to users. Even after all this time, I’m grateful that this career pushes me to be a lifelong learner and offers a never-ending source of amazement and wonder. Since 2016, I have consciously reoriented my career toward missions aligned with my values—initiatives that contribute to a better future for the next generation. After eight years in the field of education, I can confidently say that having a clear answer to the “why” behind the work makes every day more fulfilling.
