Summary
Prior to my current role as VP of Strategy and Insights at Burlington Stores, I served as CFO / SVP of Strategy at Premium Commerce Holdings. Previously, I led the Business Transformation and Corporate Strategy function (named the Investment Management Team) at J.Crew in New York City. I joined J.Crew after serving as the Chief Financial Officer for Sentient Jet & Everest Fuel Management (a multi-division private-equity owned aviation company). I was a strategic, corporate development type CFO rather than a CPA, CFA, Controller type CFO. Sentient & Everest were successfully sold to a strategic buyer. Preceding my time at Sentient, I led the U.S strategy team for Wal-Mart Stores in Bentonville, Arkansas, as well as built their Operations Finance Team which supported the Retail Stores teams across the country, and before that worked with the online ecommerce team at Walmart.com in California with responsibilities for the online DVD rental (Netflix competitor), travel and photo services, and strategy, partnerships and business development. My first employment after my undergraduate degree in economics from Harvard was as a strategy consultant for Monitor Consulting (now part of Deloitte Consulting) before receiving my MBA from Stanford Business School.
