Summary

I started my career working as a web dev and systems administrator at a local interactive shop/internet service provider. Then I moved into trading systems operations for a major multinational financial firm. After nearly fifteen years in fintech, I'm now running my own shop - Parallel Theory - using what I've learned about high-performance applications, production support, and automation, to help cloud- and internet- based organizations scale up to meet ever increasing demand. Focus: Utilizing cloud technologies, infrastructure-as-code principles, and automated CI/CD pipelines to create seamless, consistently reproducible, and highly scalable environments. I'm at my best when I'm empowering teams to build and deploy the resources they need, on their terms. Providing a strong library of models and tools facilitates teams being able to move not only quickly, but reliably, while still maintaining corporate governance and compliance benchmarks.
