Summary
Michael has over 25 years of consultancy experience including five years with Kearney, a major international management consultancy, and earlier eight years at strategy consultancies OC&C and COBA (now PwC Strategic Services). He later spent four years at Barclays in senior strategy and e-commerce line positions, before becoming an independent professional focused on organisation design at the Executive level. He has extensive advisory and delivery-based experience: • Organisation design, target operating models, process design, cost reduction /effectiveness improvement, supply chains and procurement) • Structuring and management of transformational change programmes (including business case development, stakeholder engagement, planning, establishing “drum beat”, and benefits tracking) He has performed such work across many sectors, with recent clients including Goldfields (CxO level, and governance), HSBC, Johnson Matthey (CxO level), Giesecke & Devrient (SBU COO level), STMicroelectronics, SABMiller (Europe CxO level), Meggitt (SBU CxO level), BT (CxO level), CDP (CFO level), DXL and Fujitsu (EMEIA CxO level). He has worked widely across Europe and the US and has good language skills. He is bilingual in English and Danish, has good Swedish and Norwegian understanding, and basic German and French. He is a British / Danish dual national, enabling him to work in UK, EU and EEA.
