Summary
IP routing research and standards expert developing the architectures of next generation networks. I lead SRv6, security, multicast and distributed ledger projects and regularly present them to customers. I develop standards and solutions within IoT and IP networks. I provide network research and standardization in the IETF, IEEE and ISO. I’m an IP Multicast and Blockchain expert and lead their standards strategy. I chaired the IIC's Industrial Distributed Ledger Task Group where we developed documents which evaluated how Blockchain, IOTA, Hyperledger, Ethereum, QLDB and BaaS help secure IIoT transactions. We published multiple whitepapers including Blockchain's Impact on the Network. Key leadership role in building the OPEN-O (now ONAP) project, within the Linux Foundation, and led ONOS technology strategy within Huawei and ON.Lab. I led SDN/NFV/Cloud/Opensource architecture and market development as Deputy Area Director within the ONF. I'm an Ericsson SDN Product Development Unit alum where I developed, directed and promoted strategic SDN/NFV architectures with customers, partners, and research organizations. I'm also a Cisco IP routing development team alum where I developed network architectures, supported customers and managed mobility, wireless and video projects across business units. I was a regular speaker at Cisco Live/Networkers conferences around the world. I've served as an Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) Working Group chair since 2004. My career has spanned engineering, research, strategy and sales leadership.
