Summary
I work at where business, technology and investment meet. Since founding AI & Analytics consulting firm BigData4Analytics nearly 10 years ago we have worked for Zurich Insurance, Investec Bank, EY, Grant Thornton, and many others. I recently co-founded Educational Intelligence, a software business that uses AI to improve learning outcomes - for both adults who struggle with numeracy and for the large government and business programmes that seek to help them. I have learned a lot from running tech businesses on three continents (largest single investment received $50m, largest revenue responsibility $400m, largest single sale $6m). I managed multiple investment rounds and exits when I was director of a Venture Capital firm, and later as chairman re-incorporated a European business in the USA, resulting in a trade sale. My three personal highlights: providing the software for the first decoding of the human genome, working with almost all the Formula One teams as customers, and winning a patent aged 27.
