Summary
Mitch Joel is Co-Founder of ThinkersOne — a platform offering personalized, bite-sized thought leadership from the world’s leading Thinkers. A visionary in media, technology and business transformation, Mitch helps people and organizations decode what’s now… and what’s next. He connects global audiences through keynotes, articles, media appearances, books and his weekly podcast conversations on innovation, leadership, and consumer behavior (Six Pixels of Separation - The ThinkersOne Podcast). For nearly three decades, Mitch has worked as both executive and entrepreneur - from launching music magazines and a record label to running media at early search engines and marketing one of the first mobile content publishing platforms. He eventually founded and sold his digital marketing agency to WPP, where he served as President of a global agency operating in 25 countries with nearly 3,000 employees. He’s delivered 40–60 keynotes a year since 2005 for brands like Google, Microsoft, Walmart, TikTok, Unilever, and Shopify. His books Six Pixels of Separation and CTRL ALT Delete (Grand Central Publishing – Hachette) are business bestsellers. Mitch sits on public, private and nonprofit boards, including Postmedia, the Interactive Advertising Bureau of Canada, Canada’s Top 40 Under 40, Inovia Capital’s Early Stage Fund, and as Trustee of the Westmount Public Library. He was named to Dr. Marshall Goldsmith’s “100 Coaches” and selected for the Thinkers50 Radar class of 2021. He also hosts Groove – The No Treble Podcast, where he’s building the largest oral history of electric bass players in the world.
