Summary

With over 25 years of experience across US, Europe and India – across corporates and startups – across physical and digital industries, I have learnt that the human quest for doing bigger, and better things is always trying to break barriers. As a management consultant with McKinsey, I saw the power of analytics and one-on-one research drive ‘sustainable competitive advantage’. Then as a tech-enabled global citizen with Infosys, Intiqua and WNS, I saw how a global workforce could learn to do complicated things with huge scale and cost efficiency in a short period of a decade. With A-B testing driven deep statistical decision-making at Capital One, I was able to extract hidden value in financial service. I built medium scale startups in IT, media and real estate – where global best practices fully applied to the Indian environment. And how this learning from bits-and-bytes could transform the global supply chain for Networking tech at STL. There’s a common thread through all of this – The human quest to collaborate across borders to build bigger and better solutions. It is more possible today than ever before. Some call it the Next Industrial Revolution. I say - We live in a New World. Parallel to the Physical world of geographical borders and language barriers, there is a new world of one humanity connected by a Borderless World of Logic. Yes ‘everything is data’ and every concept is ‘algorithms’. Rarely do we need to move coders, or books, or callers. We can move code, sounds, and video instead. Only constraint remains – that of trust, knowledge and capability.
