Summary
I am really enjoying this Information Revolution! So think of me as an information revolutionary. So, a bit about my life, so far, such as it is... I majored in theoretical physics (I went to Caltech, and yeah, I actually met Richard Feynman who was quite a character) and, over the years, I've enjoyed many careers and pastimes - for example, I designed two of the world’s best selling computer games, including the world's first commercially successful Internet game; developed some Internet standards with outfits like IBM and CommerceNet; created the world's first Total Quality software productivity toolkit with the Juran Institute; invented the term eMarkets while thinktanking at CommerceNet; built an uncapitalized videogame startup into the 97th largest software company in the US; started a dotcom called Bizbots that managed to grab a full page rave in Time Magazine... before it crashed. Ah, life. These days, I'm a partner at FutureLab, a spunky little venture accelerator with projects in the blockchain, AI, healthcare, fintech, mobile/enterprise app arenas. And I do some strategic consulting on the side. These days, I work 90% of my time on new ventures and accept a few consulting assignments in order to learn new industries.
