Summary
I cover big picture trends related to enterprise AI adoption (including GenAI). Key research themes include business, organizational and technology architecture transformation, in the context of AI and GenAI. Previously, my focus at IDC was on the observability and AIOps markets, where I advised vendor CEOs on strategic company and product direction, and offered guidance to enterprises that were modernizing their approaches to monitoring and observability. At IDC, I also previously covered software innovation programs in the enterprise and their potential to drive efficiencies into corporate processes, generate new revenue streams, respond to customer demand, and improve competitiveness. Before joining IDC, I covered observability at 451 Research where I advised chief executives of leading vendors in the sector about market disruption, strategic direction and competitive threats. I ran one of the most lucrative practice areas in the company, bringing in more than $1m in revenue in 2019. • Former editor in chief for the Fierce Markets Enterprise IT newsletters.
