Summary
With a background in sales, marketing, and strategy, I transitioned into the realm of law, where I've spent the last decade spearheading the setup, growth, and management of a successful law practice. I’ve always had a passion for design, so over the last three years I have been studying interior design and I recently successfully graduated with a Bachelor of Design in Interior Architecture from the University of Technology Sydney. Through my study my interest has been captivated by small space living solutions and social housing for women over 55 who find themselves homeless. Fascinated by the concept of small space living and inspired by the potential of creative design solutions, my focus lies in crafting environments that seamlessly blend functionality with aesthetic appeal. From dynamic room configurations to integrated appliances and space-maximising joinery, my vision is to create living spaces that cater to the diverse needs of urban dwellers, from singles to families, enabling them to thrive amidst the vibrancy of city life. During my academic pursuits, I also became aware of the pressing issue of homelessness among women over 55. This awareness ignited a commitment within me, culminating in my final project - an innovative residential facility designed to address the multifaceted needs of this demographic. By providing long-term accommodation, crisis intervention for survivors of domestic violence, and communal spaces fostering healing and connection, I endeavoured to create a sustainable model that not only addresses immediate needs but also fosters long-term empowerment. I am committed to utilising my background in sales, marketing, strategy, and law to drive positive change and create impactful design solutions that meet the individual needs of those with whom I work. If you are looking for a passionate and versatile professional who is dedicated to making a difference through design, let's connect and explore potential collaborations.
