Summary
I’m a professional geologist with experience primarily in environmental and regulatory management across conventional and unconventional energy sectors. I have 20 years of experience planning, managing and supervising water, land and contaminant monitoring programs to meet environmental compliance and responsible development. I specialize in water quality and quantity assessments and apply my training in isotopic geochemistry to develop new approaches to problem solving and mitigation. My project portfolio includes solutions for conventional oil and gas, heavy oil/mining, shale/tight gas, and carbon capture and storage projects in Alberta and BC. I have significant experience navigating the regulatory landscape and find solutions to complex problems by collaborating and building strong relationships. I am highly flexible and elastic in my job duties, often assisting and executing tasks beyond my current role. I enjoy mentoring and building capacity and confidence in others. I understand the technical and social challenges facing the minerals and energy sectors in Canada and adapt to meet these challenges. I am a problem solver who prides myself on delivering strategic and high quality results through accountability and seeks to continue to grow and expand my experience through new challenges.
