Summary

I'm an independent consultant in information security with a focus on hardware and operating system security and evaluation. I've worked in many parts of the field, including over a decade as a technology consultant to NSA, a stint as architect for Sun Microsystems first secure system, and a 7-year sojurn as the DRM product architect and later running the secure hardware business at InterTrust. My current main project (ongoing since 2010) is being the information architecture and security lead for DARPA on the System F6 program, which is developing a high-performance general-purpose computing, communication, and operational platform for fractionated (and other) space missions.
