Glue Programmer and Software Mender. I like working in the gap between theoretical computer science and real-world engineering. My approach varies from problem to problem but frequently I try to leverage third-party components/systems (both Open Source and commercial s/w) with some scripting glue to solve particular business problems. I really like duckdb, Excel + PyXLL. I am interested in the topics of meta-data driven systems (including code-generation), federated databases and high-performance distributed computing.
