Summary
Recently "published" personal/professional website www.paullisy.com which summarizes 15 years of photography work along with links to project trailers, short films and a cartoon series. In 2010-2011 I wrote, edited, directed and co-produced with Marc Spears (of ESPN's "The Undefeated") a feature documentary entitled "Katrina Cop In The Superdome" about the experiences of a New Orleans police officer and many other New Orleans residents in the Louisiana Superdome during and after Hurricane Katrina. Film has been shown at numerous film festivals and recently won the audience award for best documentary at the Big Easy Film Festival in New Orleans. Film is now being distributed by Green Apple Entertainment. In 2015 completed pilot for a 10 part tv series entitled Decade 19.60 about national identity, and the various civil rights leaders whose struggles helped define the current events that are playing out today. A variation on the pilot became BLACK POWER - The Issue of Violence - a short film that can be viewed on my personal site. Specialties: Media Producing and Directing - internet shorts, cable and broadcast television, feature film documentaries. Script analysis and studio script development experience. Final Cut Pro editing.
