Paulina Garcés Reid is the owner and creative director of GARCES DESIGN, a New York State Certified Minority and Woman-owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) that specializes in branding and creative direction. She has over 18 years of experience in graphic design, illustration, and information architecture, working with clients from various sectors, including education, nonprofit, media, and local businesses. Paulina's passion for visual art and design started in her hometown of Quito, Ecuador, where she studied graphic design and painting with renowned artists. She later completed her studies at the Rochester Institute of Technology and launched her career at two newspapers, winning several awards for her infographics and illustrations. In 2005, she founded GARCES DESIGN, combining her artistic roots with her entrepreneurial spirit. Her mission is to help her clients grow their brands and strengthen the communities she lives in. She also created FLX Designs, a project that showcases her love of the Finger Lakes region through her illustrations and designs.
