Summary
I have been a full stack engineer and manager since the 2000s. As well as runing multiple teams of engineers across multiple stacks and cloud environments, I have always kept very close to the code and have always been on hand to write code where necessary, or more increasingly be involved in architecture, problem solving and helping engineering teams be effective. My personal coding specialisms are in the Javascript world, but I've also worked on Java, C#, python and ruby. My history includes startups, scale ups and large corporates, and I have always tried to have insight into - and influence over - the bigger picture strategy of an organisation, as well as the technical architecture and practices. I have worked across multiple sectors including Financial Services, Broadcast Media and Education.
