Summary

It's time to turn my longstanding passion for backcountry travel and time in wilderness into a full time gig. My passion for wilderness was solidified thirty years ago when I had the privilege of spending a semester as a National Outdoor Leadership School student in the Rockies. I've put those skills and my passion to work on 4 different continents over the last thirty years. Those experiences taught me an enormous amount about leadership and back country travel skills that I plan to share with as many people as I can with the launch of Sherpa of Souls. Our mission is to share wilderness-based mindfulness experiences (Wilderness Wellness) with as many people as we can. Our intention is to empower and educate people by teaching basic back country travel skills along with tools that help still a restless mind and promote clarity of thinking through meditation. The desired outcome is to parlay the awe of nature and mindfulness into new positive rituals with the help of a durable, peer-supported community to promote lasting mental health and wellness.
