Petra co- founded the AI.GROUP (AI.HAMBURG, AI.FUND, AI.IMPACT)to bring International AI expertise to businesses, excellarate the adoption of AI. She also co-founded AI.INVEST and AI.FUND to support the growth of promising AI start ups with venture capital and expertise. She co-founded the AI STARTUP HUB in Hamburg, which is funded by the German Government. She co-founded Transatlantic AI Exchange to deepen the exchange between the US and Germany between experts in the AI ecosystem. Petra is a pioneer in the mobile industry.She is one oft the first women globally to co- found a mobile company in 2005 and has been successful in growing Smaato to become one of the largest independent mobile companies in the world and the largest independent Global Mobile Ad and RTB Exchanges with HQ in San Francisco and offices in New York, Hamburg, Singapore and Jakarta. As founding member of Intershop in 1996, Petra was instrumental in growing the company from a start-up to a publicly listed company with a market cap of $12Billion. As VP of Business Development and Strategic Alliances Petra had global responsibility for all strategic, business and technical partnerships.Petra has over 30 years of business experience in the US, Europe and Asia. Petra is a Silicon Valley veteran since 1981, one of the best globally networked women executives. She sits on several boards and has been appointed to international honorary positions. She is AI Chair at GABA, the German American Business Association. She is a member of the Committee for Innovation and Research at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, a Board Member of Hamburg@work, a Board Member at the Amerikazentrum and Vice President at The American Club. She was on the Global Leadership Team of Women in Wireless where she facilitates the organisations Global expansion. Petra was appointed Hamburg Ambassador to San Francisco by the former Governor and First Mayor of Hamburg, Olaf Scholz, now Germany's Chancellor. She was appointed International Ambassador of the Technical University of Hamburg(TUHH) by the president.
