Software development manager and architect with more than 25 years experience in the IT industry and 15 years experience in software development management, starting with a project management role at Bulgarian IT Outsourcing companies like Rila Solutions (one of the first foreign investments in the Bulgarian IT industry), leading software development department of Raiffeisen Bank Bulgaria (#5 Bank in Bulgaria with 4 Billion EUR of assets) and managing software development teams in big international companies like Experian and VMWare. As software development manager Plamen has been working on a broad range of projects like: • Digital transformation of Raiffeisen bank with the introduction of billing systems and frontend bank systems in retail banking • Implementation of the logistical system in Bulgarian Army (a project sponsored by NATO) • Implementation of Oracle e-Business Suite in private companies • Development of bespoke software systems for Bulgarian companies, international companies, and government institutions Plamen has a strong technical background covering various technologies like Java, Spring, Java EE, Relational databases like Oracle, MySQL, containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes.
