Summary
I lead "Wes Carroll Tutoring & Coaching," in operation since December 1999. We have significantly improved math competition results (especially AMC 8, AMC 10, and AMC 12), math and science test scores, class grades, and career outcomes for over 950 gifted and/or focused middle-, high-school, and college students to date. In 2007, I co-created Bodsat Prep to serve gifted students seeking expert, non-intrusive test preparation. Through Bodsat, I helped approximately 800 students gain an average of 36% of the points they did not score on a previous test date. This represents about seven times the national average for professional SAT preparation. I left Bodsat in 2016 in order to focus on my own (STEM-centered and holistic) practice. I have specialties in four related fields: -- 1) high-school and beginning college-level mathematics -- 2) problem-solving, test-taking, and gaming -- 3) one-on-one performance coaching -- 4) group instruction and motivation I am a puzzle enthusiast and award-winning competitor. I was once also a professional musician; I am now a dedicated hobbyist.
