Specialised in data regulation for 25 years. I founded consultancy boutique Assured Privacy a decade ago, to help Boards and Senior Leaders evolve their data governance & optimize risk stemming from cross-border global data regulation. I work with product and business strategies, and across organisational constructs, within multiple verticals. I've also worked for: - PayPal Europe & eBay Europe; as their EU DPO, chairing eBay Europe's Board & holding its EU Business License. - KPMG; establishing their European privacy service model. - The Dutch Data Protection Authority & the European Commission; as their Privacy Enhancing Technologies Expert. I have held over 10 statutory Data Protection Officer positions, covering several hundred million customers, under UK, Swiss, German, Luxembourg, Dutch and Swedish primary (cross-border) jurisdictions, and successfully filed 5 Binding Corporate Rules approvals with UK, Luxembourg and Dutch Lead Authorities.
