Summary
I am working on holism as it was originally defined, namely as an alternative to scientific reductionism; nothing to do with new age or healing. Holism implies new fundamental ideas related to time, not as a linear quasi dimension of space but as a cyclic quantity on its own right, capable of producing evolutionary processes in organic wholes. Thus understood, time may shed light into areas where an approach based on whole-to-whole interactions is required, like biology, cosmology, and even the so-called collapse of the wave function to produce an entangled pair of particles: a whole. As a bonus, the issue of consciousness emerges quite nicely from the functional relatedness of a whole's "parts" (themselves wholes).
