25+ years in IT; broad and up-to-date skill set. Currently employed FT; looking for opportunities in several areas: <ul> <li>Along with a colleague of similar background, strongly interested in teaming with someone with sales / marketing / management expertise to form an IT consulting co. We have the technical expertise; need somone to make sales and handle general biz ops. Possible targets are health care and small/med. Fed gov't contracts; open to other ideas. Talent / dedication / organizational "fit" more important than experience. Location unimportant if can travel, but must be US citizen and able to obtain gov't security clearance if necessary. Strong equity position possible for the right person. <li>In re the above, we're looking for medical professionals to invest in development of a practice mgmt and records system for small / medium sized clinics. Ideally, would like ~ 20 people willing to invest $250K each and participate in system development and testing. Goal is to offer enterprise-class features in a system affordable by single practitioners. Architecture and basic design are complete; need capital to develop, implement, and market. Several key aspects appear patentable. <li>Open to long-term (> 12 mo.) W2 / 1099 / B2B FT/PT contracts in Metro Detroit area, or remote to anywhere. Reasonable rates. <li>Open to FT position in Metro Detroit area, or remote to anywhere. Salary requirement above average for area, but I'm worth it. :) Salary is negotiable for telecommuting opp's. </ul> Specialties: N-tier Internet, intranet, client/server system architecture, integration, development, administration, management.
