With a career spanning over three decades, I have cultivated a deep passion and expertise in technology. My journey began in the eighties with Bulletin Board Systems in Perth, evolving through pivotal roles at Hutchison Telecom UK, Sun Microsystems, and eventually founding Recommendation Ventures. As the CEO of Adapptor, I have steered the company from a small team to a thriving business, delivering innovative mobile solutions for high-profile clients like Wilson Parking, Transperth, and various government agencies. My tenure at Adapptor follows roles as General Manager and Product Director, where I honed my skills in operations and product development. A commerce graduate from Curtin University, my early career saw me develop a robust foundation in web development, ISP account management, and technical support. My time at Sun Microsystems as a Systems Engineer and Account Manager further solidified my expertise in internet technologies and client relations. In 2006, I ventured into entrepreneurship with Recommendation Ventures, launching notable projects like Scouta, a social recommendation platform that earned recognition in BRW’s “Top 100 Australian Web 2.0 Applications.” Beyond my professional endeavors, I am an author of two books, a podcaster, and an active participant in the tech community. My continuous curiosity drives me to explore emerging technologies and engage in virtual bike races on Zwift. I am dedicated to leveraging technology to create innovative solutions and drive excellence in the tech industry, embodying a relentless pursuit of growth and adaptation.
