Weaveworks created FluxCD, Cortex, Weave Net and more. Inventor of GitOps, building on much prior art. Led Spring/vFabric/Redis/Rabbit biz at early Pivotal, when a lot changed at once, including invention of Spring Boot and associated cloud/data stacks. Before all this, I was a quantitative trader in Fixed Income Derivatives Trading at Goldman Sachs (Arbitrage desk and Swaps/Bonds desk). Before that I researched and taught mathematical logic and computer science at Oxford University. At one time I was a 2Lt in the RM.
