Rich Miller is CEO and Managing Director of Telematica, a consultancy working with early stage technology companies as well as industry leaders like AT&T, PwC, and IBM. Rich is an advisor to and a strategist for both established technology vendors and early stage companies, as well as for the enterprises which embrace these technologies. An active advisor and product strategist, he leads the practice areas focused on cloud computing (hybrid/multi-cloud environments), data husbandry & machine learning (data science & data engineering), and distributed computing (edge computing and distributed ledger technology). In 2019, Rich co-founded Provenant Data, a software company providing Source Data Management technology and services where he serves as Executive Chair. The company’s objective is the provision of services for dataset composition, governance and monetization. His career has ranged from the early days of the ARPAnet as a systems architect and implementer of electronic mail, to that of consultant in technology and product strategy for Fortune100 firms. He is a serial entrepreneur, having founded, or joined in early stages, ten technology firms or consultancies.
