Dr. Rickmer Kose has 30+ years of experience in technology and entrepreneurship, ranging from nanotechnology research to sales. He has started seven new businesses (two profitable exits and two ongoing) in a range of industries, most recently in the automotive and biotechnology sectors. Dr. Kose has an MA in Physics from Berlin Technical University (thesis research at Aarhus Technical University and the Max Planck Institute in Berlin), a Ph.D. in nanotechnology from Cambridge University and is a Feodor-Lynen Fellow of the Humboldt-Society. He is an avid angel investor, serves on the screening committee of the MIT Angels Chapter for Northern California, has published 18 articles in peer reviewed journals, a scientific book chapter and been awarded 4 US patents.
