Things I've helped launch: - Mach37 Cyber Accelerator - Co-founding General Partner (35 deals in 3 years) - In-Q-Tel - First Director of Technology Assessment, & Director of Strategic Projects - The cybersecurity product categories of firewalls, VPN, IDS, and multinational IR, VA, & pentesting svcs. - The security organization at one of the first "Tier-1" Internet service providers I'm the guy who helps you understand that your creation is both a floor wax and a dessert topping, and who might be its customer or investor. I've sat on each side of the founder/customer/angel/VC table. I've been doing cool things in cybersecurity since before cybersecurity was "cool." If you are trying to foster "digital transformation" and haven't yet figured out that "security transformation" is a necessary element, please feel free to reach out if you need help. In the end, tactics are trumped by strategy, and strategy is trumped by culture. Now ask yourself how many of your transformation conversations have been about culture as opposed to tech or widgets.
