Summary

Soquel Group performs is a full service patent agency with locations in Silicon Valley and Israel. We draft and prosecute patents and assist with intellectual property transactions. We also perform various types of analysis on patents and patent portfolios including patentability searches, valuations and infringement analysis. We work with companies and inventors to commercialize their patents or patent portfolios through licensing, sale or through securing legal representation for litigation. Current and recent clients include Adobe, ACD Systems, Branded Entertainment Network, Harris, Roxio, RPI, Market America, Seebright, Smart Cloud, Sonic Solutions, and Stratify. In addition to my role as Managing Director of Soquel Group I serve as Director of Intellectual Property for Amber Kinetics. Previously, I was President/CEO of Fresher Information, a developer of web services software. Prior to that I was co-founder & Executive VP of Live Picture, a developer of imaging & Internet software products. Prior to that I worked for Groupe Bull in Paris. I started my professional career building radar systems at Hughes Aircraft. I have broad experience with Web technology, including cloud services and apps, enterprise and consumer technology products and software and systems for digital media and data management. Specialties: Patent drafting, prosecution, analysis and commercialization of individual patents and patent portfolios. Valuation of patents and portfolios. Other specialties include product marketing and engineering management. I am a registered U.S. Patent Agent.
