Summary
Ron Dennis returned to California in 2015 after living in Hawaii for 14 years. He started a voice user interface (VUI) company, VoxTools, focused on VUI for business. In Hawaii Ron was the live in host at a 10 bedroom beachfront villa. Tough life. Ron was the Wi-Fi Editor for Wireless Business and Technology Magazine, co-founder of Golden Gate Angels Investment Group, and was on the board of an investment group working with Los Alamos National Laboratory to commercialize software written at national laboratories. Ron helped shape the Internet medium from its early stages, and has guided several Internet start-ups, from Navisoft (1994) to Livemind (2001). He led the third-party developer group at AOL, created AOL's Web Hosting Service and Software Greenhouse. Ron has consulted with Microsoft, Federal Express, Borland, and was the third member of the founding team at Ashton-Tate. In his youth Ron was a recording artist for Amy Bell Records and Papa Don Productions in Pensacola, Florida where he helped pioneer the "Southern Psychedelic" sound.
