Ron’s strong technical background ensures important technology decisions meet corporate goals. Ron has a track record of building win/win partnerships both internally and externally. Ron is currently the CTO and SVP Engineering at Xactly, the leading SaaS provider of incentive management solutions, where he leads the development, QA, and data center operations engineering teams in developing, innovating, and operating the Xactly SaaS solutions. Just prior to Xactly Ron held the role of VP Engineering at Quova (acquired by Neustar), the leading provider of geo location delivered to enterprises and ad networks through SaaS and DaaS models. Ron came to Quova from Lithium Technologies, a leading provider of online communities, where he balanced business objectives and conflicting priorities to deliver new competitive features, satisfy customer needs and make architectural enhancements. Prior to joining Lithium, Ron was CTO and VP of Engineering at KnowNow – one of the early entrants to the Enterprise 2.0 market – where he defined product strategy and led engineering in the successful development and release of innovative SaaS and web-based enterprise software products. He has also held executive and senior engineering positions for Digital Impact (SaaS direct marketing), SCO (on-premise system software), and Hewlett-Packard (compilers/system software). Ron holds both a B.A. in Computer Science and a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
