I work for the Thornton Family Foundations, which support the environment and the arts. Previously I was an independent consultant for businesses and also local nonprofits. I have over 15 years of experience in financial services across Wells Fargo & Co, Visa Inc., and American Express, primarily in innovation - new product development, new technologies such as artificial intelligence and tokenization, and liaising with the startup and venture communities. I am also experienced in business development, forging first-ever deals and partnerships such as between telcos and Visa for international mobile payment systems. I was previously a management consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton and an environmental consultant at Montgomery Watson Harza (7 years combined), and also provide pro bono and paid management consulting to local nonprofits, particularly in the environmental sector.
