Ralph is an experienced executive and investor. His current Investment interests include utilizing computational methods for building and supporting research to facilitate our long-term understanding of the brain. His investments include Alarm.com (ALRM), Innovation Interactive (Dentsu), Junglee (AMZN), BrassRing (Kenexa/IBM), and American Public Education (APEI). Ralph believes that his business success has been based on exploring the potential of out-of-the-box thinking or paradigm shifts. This is evidenced in his involvement with Digital Ink (WashingtonPost.com), Junglee, and Alarm.com. This process has led Ralph to his current commitment to the Packard Center at Johns Hopkins and the 10K Brains Project. Ralph is co-chair of the Packard Center a leading early-stage research effort to expand our understanding of ALS and neurodegenerative diseases. He is on the board of Brainscope and leading their efforts to build a software business based on it's IP to improve our understanding of/and diagnose brain injuries and diseases (Such as concussion, stroke. and Alzheimer's Disease). Ralph is a member of the Board of Directors of the 10,000 Brains Project (https://10kbrains.org/) The 10,000 Brains Project is a 501(c)(3) philanthropic initiative that seeks to accelerate the ethical and inclusive use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the fight against neurodegenerative diseases. We envision a future where AI-enabled tools deliver personalized diagnostics and treatments for all patients who suffer from neurodegenerative diseases. Ralph's non-profit board experience includes Truste, eCornell, Brain Sciences Institute, The 10,000 Brains Project and the Packard Center at Johns Hopkins University.
