Summary
I'm a very experienced angel investor and recovering VC, having founded Kindred Capital back in 2016. I still do a little angel investing, as well as looking after my portfolio from the first two Kindred funds. Previously, I worked with the UK Government to help the cream of UK tech companies get Series A funding in the Afterburner Programme. This raised $150 million between 2014 and 2016 from investors in the UK, Europe, The Valley and Japan. I've also done angel investing via Ballpark Ventures and held a number of advisory and Non-Exec/Chairman roles. Before that, I started the incredibly successful, AdMob (exited to Google for $750m) the mobile advertising network, in Europe as its Managing Director. Still searching for the new new thing.
