Summary
A traveler through an extraordinary life. Now defining a "Fourth Age" as what one does after having done the post-retirement thing. I am now an actor and playwright -- Producing and performing the play I have written called "The Actual Dance." (www.theactualdance.com) A radical turn in my own history, a step off a proverbial cliff into an unknown, yet called future. It is what I am meant to do with my life. My 2nd age -- was that of lawyer and innovator in brining together unlikely allies to form coalitions and find win-win solutions to public policy issues. A member of many boards, inlcluding the National Consumers League (former Chair of the Board and Treasurer); the World Institute on Disability (former Vice-Chair); and the Board of Overseers for New York Campus of the Hebrew Union College. My 3rd Age took me back to my original passion of working in the non-profit, social change world to continue to bring together unlikely voices to forge common ground for social justice at Intersections International. Working for change by promoting a culture of values based leadership. Envisioning a move from the ultimate "me" culture to one of "we", where "we" value an honor the other. Specialties: Now : Theater for meaning. Public Speaking and Keynoting. Care Giving and Support in End of Life environments. Then: Consumer affairs, internet advocacy, coalition building.
