Schuyler F. Hoynes is a native and resident of Cobb County, where she lives with her husband and daughter. She earned her B.A. from the University of Alabama in 2001, her M.B.A. from Georgia Southern University in 2004, and her J.D. from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School in 2009. Schuyler joined the firm of Lyle Detling & Levine, LLC after graduation and started her solo practice in 2011. In April of 2011, Schuyler commissioned as an officer in the Georgia Army National Guard. She served as full-time counsel for the Georgia Army National Guard from 2012 to 2016, when she decided to transition back into the civilian legal sector. Schuyler served the citizens of Cobb County as the Associate Judge for the Cobb County Probate Court from 2016 to 2018, before resigning to focus on her passions: her family and her military career. In 2020, Schuyler joined to Georgia Air National Guard, where she currently serves as a Judge Advocate and full-time staff attorney at the Georgia Air National Guard Headquarters in Marietta, Georgia. In her spare time, she serves as a Troop Leader for her daughter's Girl Scout Troop and enjoys traveling and watching college football with her family. Publications: Co-Author (with William A.
