Summary
I've been in the IT customer service business for more than 25 years and have been fortunate enough to do that within a technical context. Most of my experience is in post sales technical support, both in deployment and operations. I've been doing Unix for about 15 years, but it never gets old. There's always something new to learn, read about, share with colleagues or figure out that I'm always kept just a little off balance. Learning, teaching and meeting challenges, especially when things are broken, are what keeps it fresh for me. Specialties: Long years of fun with Unix. Solaris, HP-UX, Linux, IRIX, AIX and maybe some I've forgotten. Lots of shell and Perl scripting, networking, printers, backups, system configuration, storage, NIS, DNS, etc.
