Summary
Scott is the former Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of BroadSoft. Over the course of 20 years at BroadSoft, he ran product strategy, product management, development, cloud operations, support and customer success for BroadSoft’s flagship products - BroadWorks and BroadCloud. After Cisco’s acquisition of BroadSoft, Scott joined Cisco in February 2018 as the Vice President and General Manager of Cloud Calling. He was responsible for all of Cisco’s cloud calling products and solutions, including product strategy, product management, development, cloud operations and partner support. Prior to co-founding BroadSoft, Scott was Director of Wireless Development at Celcore (DSC/Alcatel USA). In this role, he was responsible for all product architecture and development. Before Celcore, Scott was Senior Architect for Nortel’s GSM and Inter-Exchange Carrier switching systems. He has multiple patents in the GSM, SIP, call processing and switching areas.
