Summary

I'm a CPG-trained operating executive, with experience spanning SaaS, health care, marketplaces and IoT. Track record of leadership and results in venture-backed startups and large company environments, including leading the team that launched and scaled the award-winning Flip Video brand of video camcorders to #1 market share in two year ($600M Cisco acquisition). I started 621 Consulting in 2017 to help companies navigate thorny marketing challenges by tapping into our vetted team of experienced fractional CMOs and marketing operators. We help companies put the critical foundational pieces in place and achieve outcomes more quickly, while also supporting the hiring process to reduce the “time-to-impact” of new talent. I'm passionate about two things: 1) building likable brands in unlikable categories (Flip Video, Prezi, One Medical) to compete against large, established players, and 2) creating teams/capabilities to enable sustainable revenue growth, from acquisition to retention. I balance my brand bias with a strong level of ownership for delivering revenue and have rounded out my marketing background with sales and business development experience.
