Summary
I transform organizations through management, advice, and capital. To scale businesses, I plan, execute, and fundraise. With a broad set of industry experience, I’m currently focused in fintech and data science/AI. Assembling the best teams is a critical component to company success. I have hired more than 50 CEOs and VPs, restructured existing teams, and built teams of individual performers in multiple functional areas. Leading and articulating direction, vision and culture points teams in the winning direction. Managing teams of up to 100 people across industries, time zones, and corporate functions, combined with communication skills from BCG consulting and 20 years of professorial teaching, provides me with the ability to organize, communicate and demonstrate. I have co-founded companies, run operating companies as interim CEO, and led Data Science. Making difficult tradeoff decisions to maintain focus on core priorities keeps businesses moving. This requires detailed understanding of tradeoffs, no matter how large or small. My business judgement and attention to data-based decisions stems from my years as a systems engineer in artificial intelligence, BCG consultant, and Venture Capital. To aggregate resources is to provide the fuel that accomplishes success. I have raised hundreds of millions of dollars from a wide and existing network of financiers. Plus, people say I’m nice. And not just those related to me.
