Summary
I am an operations executive and entrepreneur specializing in real estate investment and management, startup companies, and technology. At Boxer Property I guide strategy for operations, leasing, technology, and marketing for a national portfolio of commercial real estate. In addition to traditional operations, I am interested in enterprise data, analytics, user experience, and workplace design and sociology, and I often speak on these topics. Although I grew up in the real estate business, I began my entrepreneurial career by starting Stemmons Software, a property management and accounting solution provider. This ultimately led me to Silicon Valley, where I co-founded a Startups Inc., a virtual accelerator for early-stage, venture-backed companies. These experiences provided a great foundation for innovation in commercial real estate. At Boxer, we operate a vertically integrated business covering all aspects of office, hotel, and retail property operations. Our focus on process engineering and systems integration has helped establish the company a national leader in real estate, operations, and technology. Stemmons Enterprise provides an enterprise operations platform (EOP) that orders unstructured activities, consolidates all business functions, adapts to any industry, and is used by everyone in an organization. The platform is a major driver of innovation and corporate evolution for companies in many industries. I am also involved in various other projects, including Boxer Finance (commercial lending), Tidewell Energy (natural gas), and CasAlegria (residential sales and lending). I serve on the Board of Trustees of YES Prep Public Schools, the RealComm CIO Advisory Council, Sketch City, Glasstire, and the Lawndale Art Center, and am a member of the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences (aka Webby Awards Judge).
