Summary
I am now looking for advisory and board work, looking to help entrepreneurs and teams with the hard lessons I've learned and help them put those lessons to work. I am comfortable with tough board assignments and leadership transitions. An external perspective can bring clarity to tough decisions. I've previously chaired the Austin Technology Council for four years, and took part in two important CEO leadership transitions for ATC, and led the selection process for our current CEO, as well as passing the baton to my successor as Chair. I served as chair of the Magellan International School board for 5 years and the board for 7, where I also presided over the search for a new Head of School, and while on the board, presided over expansion from 40 students to 580- Magellan is still going strong! Previously, I co-founded and led BP3 as CTO and then CEO. Together with our team, we built the best services business in the world for process orchestration and AI. I remain on the board and continue to advise and provide my support. Prior to BP3, I was Chief Architect and Director of Technical Services and the Lombardi On Demand Assistance program at Lombardi Software, which was an early and innovative entrant in the Business Process Management (BPM) software space, later acquired by IBM in 2010, and becoming the cornerstone of IBM's offering in that space. Prior to Lombardi, I started Westslope Software, LLC to manage my independent software consulting efforts. Prior to Westslope Software, I worked 7 years with Trilogy in several different senior technical, management, and leadership roles - from Development to Consulting to Technical Sales. I still manage the Trilogy Alumni network to this day.
