Summary
Research fellow working on climate change adaptation, smart cities, urban informatics, and high-performance geocomputation. My current research projects investigate the impact of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) on coastal populations, and the effectiveness of serious games for citizen engagement and public participation in climate adaptation planning. I also have a long-standing interest in high-performance geocomputation for GIS, urban planning, and urban data visualisation in the form of the Georust libraries and ecosystem, written in Rust. I'm also an experienced software developer with over a decade of experience in data analysis and visualisation, scientific computing, GIS, geocomputation, mapping, and processing urban sensor data.
