Summary
I spent the better part of 2024 deciding what was next. Retirement for me was always going to be a time for being active and engaged. The stereotype that society imagined wasn’t appealing. As I worked with a coach, I was asked “Have you ever considered coaching?” I hadn’t. In fact, I had a less than stellar opinion about those who called themselves “coaches”. But, I surveyed my friends and beta-tested my skills. Then came to realize that I loved helping others in this way, and had a gift for doing so. In particular, I could truly guide people in the journey from working to a new way of retirement. These last decades of our lives could be the most creative and exciting. We just need a nudge.
