Summary
Stacey Abrams is CEO of Sage Works Productions and Senior Counsel to Rewiring America. She serves as the inaugural chair of the Walters Center for Race and Black Politics at Howard University. She is a serial entrepreneur, who co-founded NOW Corp., a financial services and revenue acceleration company and co-founded The Family Room, Inc., (an ed tech firm), Nourish, Inc., (a beverage company), and Insomnia, LLC, (a development and advisory firm specializing in sourcing infrastructure projects and public-private partnerships). Stacey is the New York Times bestselling author, including Rogue Justice, While Justice Sleeps, Our Time Is Now and Lead from the Outside. Her works span children’s books, business and leadership, and romantic suspense. She is the co-author of Level Up: Rise Above the Hidden Forces Holding Your Business Back with Lara Hodgson and Heather Cabot. She led the House Democrats in the Georgia General Assembly for seven years. Formerly, Stacey was Deputy City Attorney for Government Counsel, Development and Infrastructure for the City of Atlanta. She trained as a tax attorney at Sutherland, Asbill and Brennan (now Eversheds Sutherland).
