Summary
I help clients with all aspects of trademark clearance, registration, and enforcement, both federally and internationally for large and small companies. I provide personalized counseling to help the registration process go as smoothly as possible. For creative works, I advise registration with the US Copyright Office, which I can do for clients but for which I also offer a tutorial so that clients learn to do their own copyright registrations. I have represented clients before the Trademark Trial & Appeal Board (TTAB), in both cancellation and appeal proceedings and handle trademark and copyright litigation as well. I also advise clients on various copyright, fair use, entertainment law and licensing issues both in the corporate realm as well as for my much-loved songwriter, filmmaker, author, visual artist and other creative clients.
