Summary

Currently working as Head of Technology and Development for NRKs central region. We are building the second largest office and studio complex in NRK Trondheim. My groups are serving NRK within the technology and production and consists of a camera/video/editor group and one technology/audio group. The latter has project managers, technical managers, service department, logistics, IT administrators, system administrators, continuity personell, audio engineers and audio imaging designers. I have worked with change management projects, consolidating productions resources and standardising production technology. Managing investment projects and procurement processes. Served as project manager for the feasability study which paved the way for the Modernization Programme at NRK (MPP). Still working in steering groups maintaining the vision and intentions of the great modernization efforts currently being done. I have worked with integration of filebased technology in the broadcast and postproduction industry. Previous projects include being Project Manager for a new childrens channel at NRK, HDCAM/HDCAM SR EFP and post-production workflow, concept and design of an highly automated streaming system, workflow analysis and technical design of a new childrens channel and it's integration with existing MAM, archive and automation systems. Specialties: Management, investment in broadcast equipment, systems planning, workflow design, implementation of newer broadcast technologies into older structures, installation and tweaks.
